·       Career Start is a Queensland Government program that provides subsidised training places for Certificate II and III courses.

·       The Career Boost Program offered by the Queensland Government pays a subsidy to training providers for selected training to reduce the cost to students. 

Scholarships

• The Sisters of Charity Foundation Tertiary Scholarship Program: For young people (27 years or under) who have been in out-of-home care, such as foster care, either currently or in the past, living in, or wish to study in, Canberra and surrounding areas, including the South Coast and Illawarra.
• The following scholarships are available to students at the University of Tasmania who are undertaking study at the Australian Maritime College (AMC):
